High Grade Dizzy Dean Single-Signed Baseball Signed for Mike Shannon
In a feat that is hard to imagine today, Jay Hanna "Dizzy" Dean hit the 30-win plateau as part of the St. Louis Cardinals' 1934 World Champion Gashouse Gang.- This spectacular Official National League (Giles) baseball was obtained in person by Mike Shannon and is in NRMT-MT condition with very bold labels. It is signed by the Hall of Famer on a side panel in 6/10 ink "Dizzy Dean." For some perspective, since that '34 season - in which Dean was named as the National League's MVP, only one pitcher has won 30 games in one campaign, dating back to Denny McLain in 1968.
