High Grade Roberto Clemente Single-Signed Baseball (PSA NM-MT 8)
This is one of the finest singles we have seen of one of the most popular, and tragic, figures in baseball history, Roberto Clemente. The "Los Nuevos Senadores" baseball is clean and beautiful, graded 8 by PSA, while the signature and inscription reading, "Para Estella, Sinceramente Roberto Clemente" takes up the sweet spot and part of a signed panel. Clemente's signature in beautiful aqua colored ink grades 8 by PSA, and this gem was signed in Puerto Rico during the 1960s while he was playing in the Winter League for the San Juan Senadores. Roberto's passion, speed and talent made him an instant star for the Pittsburgh Pirates, and he was still producing at the age of 38 when, during a 1972 off-season mission of mercy to aid earthquake victims, his plane was tragically lost at sea. To this day, he remains one of baseball's most endearing figures, and this ball is a tremendous memento. Comes with PSA LOA.
