Hires Root Beer Advertising Sign Collection (3)

Hires Root Beer Advertising Sign Collection (3)

It is America's longest, continuously-made soft drink. Hires Root Beer was first introduced in 1886 and there are three nifty signs comprising this thirst-quenching lot. First, an embossed vintage tin litho sign promoting Hires in Bottles. Scattered wear leads to a grade of EX and features a terrific, early-style bottle measuring approximately 27.5" x 9.5". Second is a blue bordered vintage embossed tin litho sign in G-VG condition due to numerous nails used for hanging. Then there's the Hires bottle-shaped thermometer, which is a bit newer than the other two and is roughly 8" x 29". All are circa 1950s-60s.
