The Montreal Royals debuted Mr. Robinson in no better place for Jackie to get his first real test. He came through in the clutch, hitting a dramatic three run homer which will forever be known as the “Shot Heard Round the Hudson”.</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> </span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">New teammate George "Shotgun" Shuba, ran over from the on-deck circle to welcome his new teammate with an epic handshake.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; color: black;">The Ebbets Field version of this ticket recently bought $28,800 at auction.
