"Hitless Wonders" Jumbo Postcard
It was the only time the two longstanding Chicago teams had ever met in the World Series. And way back in 1906, it was the White Sox who prevailed over the favored Cubs in the Fall Classic two months after racking up an astounding 19 straight victories (with one tie in between). This stupendous 6 7/8" x 5" postcard of the champs who were affectionately known as the "Hitless Wonders" due to their lack of offensive punch. Thy ChiSox may have been the dullest championship team in baseball history, but jumbo postcards such as this magnificent specimen is hardly drab, meriting an EX-MT to NRMT grade.
