Hocus Focus Promo Still from Topps Archive
Promotion still from Topps' 1949 Hocus Focus "Magic Photo" set. The historically significant 126-card series of 7/8" x 1 3/8" inch "photos" featured mixed subjects but did include 19 baseball related cards such as a few from the '48 WS -- Topps' very 1st baseball cards. The gimmick was that the photos were actually blank until the purchaser applied moisture and sunlight. The b&w promo shows a display box of the "colored bubbles" that held the cards and the contents of one. NRMT.
