Amazing glass plate negative dating to the early 1910s featuring the legendary Honus Wagner in action. Action shot shows Wagner at the plate, ready to strike, with catcher waiting in anticipation and players awaiting their turn in the background. Negative measures 6.75x5" with very slight image loss at the edges not impacting this magnificent shot of the man who won a record eight National League batting titles and was part of the first five members ever in the Hall of Fame class of 1936. Originates from Brown Brothers photo service, a pioneer in the industry starting in 1904.
