Howard Johnson’s Motor Lodge, Carrier Circle, Syracuse, NY is the subject of this framed 30” x 21” print. Image portrays an early 1960’s tableau those of us old enough to remember can certainly hearken back to. There are some slightly visible surface scratches and some chipping of the block lettering in the caption, neither of which detracts from this original gouche landscape. By artist Maroton, this is classic Americana at its best.
