Huge Estate Find of Early 1950's Sports Cards Loaded with Stars -1951 Bowman Mantle, 1953 Topps Mantle and More (1400+)

The collection has a near set of 1951 Topps Football, not 1950 as stated in the catalog. Amazing collection of over 1400 cards, all dating between 1950 and 1954. Loaded with star cards as well as some key cards such as a 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle Rookie, 1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle, 1952 Topps Willie Mays, 1953 Bowman Color Mickey Mantle and 1952 Bowman Large Jim Lansford. There are only a handful of duplicates throughout the entire collection and note that there is a near set of 1951 Topps Football, 1951 Bowman Football, 1951 Bowman Baseball, 1952 Bowman Baseball and 1952 Topps Baseball Low Numbers. Several of the 1952 Topps commons and minor stars have been graded with the breakdown (2) 84 NM 7, (9) 80 EX/NM 6, (3) 70 EX+ 5.5 with Kell, (13) 60 EX 5 with Kluszewski, (7) 50 VG/EX 4 and (2) 40 VG 3. Overall condition is better than you would expect to find in a childhood collection. For some reason the Baseball cards seem to be better than the Football with a general breakdown being about 70% EX or better and 30% lesser. The Football cards are typically 20% EX or better, 60% VG to EX and 20% lesser. Amazing collection!
