Hughie Jennings was a hard nosed infielder who played around the turn of the century. He holds the career record for being hit by a pitch with 287. He posted a career batting average of .311 and was a part of 13 pennant teams. Jennings was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1945. This wire photo measures 6 1/2" x 8" and is in EX condition with the original 1927 caption taped to the verso.
