Humongous Collection of Zeenuts (1,287) 1922-36
A tremendous collection of well over 1250+ Zeenuts all consigned from their original owner. This is one of the largest collections of Zeenuts we have ever offered. The group is very consistent throughout with a large percentage in the vg to vg-ex range. However there are certain years, which are stronger overall. There are a handful of lesser grade cards here and there but with a group this massive that should be expected. 1922 Zeenut (3) poor. 1924 Zeenut (13) Including Lloyd Waner gd, overall in gd condition. Most have writing on the back. 1925 Zeenut (23) overall condition is vg. Most have clean backs. 1926 Zeenut (90) Including Waner gd, the balance is 50% vg and 50% gd or slightly less. Many have the player's name or the number written on the reverse. 1927 Zeenut (161) Mostly in gd condition. Many are numbered in pencil on the reverse. 1928 Zeenut (157) Including Crosetti gd, Lombardi vg, Berger 20% vg-ex, 50% vg, and 30% gd. Nearly all of these have writing on the back. 1929 Zeenut (167) including Oana, Crosetti, Lombardi, Cronin(2). The average condition of the cards from this year is vg. Many of the cards have writing and or are numbered in pencil on the reverse. 1930 Zeenut (194) including Cronin, Crosetti, Lombardi, and Nevers. The average condition is vg. About half of the cards are numbered on the reverse. 1931 Zeenuts (140) Including Crosetti, the condition breakdown of this year is 15% vg-ex, 40% vg, 30% gd and 15% pr. 1932 Zeenut (119) including Oana, Dahlgren. The condition of this year is easily the strongest of the collection with 10% EX-MT, 40% EX, 30% vg-ex, and 20% slightly less. No writing on the backs of these cards. 1933 Sepia (46) Mostly in vg condition. 1933-36 Zeenut Black and White (51) featuring V. Di Maggio VG-EX. Additional cards: There are also (76) Zeenut in off grade or poor condition mostly from the 1927-29 issues. Lastly, there are (47) exhibit cards included 1926 (2), 1927 (12) including Lindstrom and Alexander and (33) from 1928. All of the Exhibit cards are in vg to vg-ex condition. It should be noted that overall about 60% of the collection has numbering on the reverse in pencil, considering much of this collection is in collector's grade condition we seriously doubt this will be an issue. None of the cards still have the tabs.
