Iconic Paul McCartney Original Photograph Used for 1990 World Tour (PSA Type I)
Classic image of former Beatles legend Paul McCartney, used to promote his 1990 solo World Tour. Against a stark white background, McCartney is shown in jacket and slacks, left hand and knee raised, having just strummed his guitar. This photo was also featured on programs, t-shirts, vinyls, and multiple concert posters including UK, Japan, Rio de Janeiro, Germany, and Madrid. Back is blank except for blue ink pen notations with the subject's name (written twice, as one was originally misspelled), and a stamp of "Jun 25 4:58 PM '90." McCartney's solo tour consisted of an amazing 103 performances, including an astounding crowd in excess of 118,000 fans at California Memorial Stadium in Berkley. Encapsulated as PSA Type I.
