"If You Need Someone Whacked, Give Me a Call" Handwritten Letters by Whitey Bulger
These three handwritten letters were by the notorious Whitey Bulger to a woman named Jackie. 1) First reads "If you need some one whacked, give me a call. Your friend, James Whitey Bulger 1428AZ, Nice guy cop put his hat on my head for the mug shot." 2) Second mentions Jack Nicholson and Johnny Depp, also signed by Bulger. Also reads "another girl friend Jacquie was on the run with me and with me sticking up banks." Depp portrayed Bulger in the movie "Whitey." 3) Third talks about the last woman in his life, reading "The last woman in my life is Catherine - we were on the run for 16 years - the best years of my life - longest period without any felony - no robbin banks or killing anyone - A 16 year honeymoon - wanted to make deal plead guilty to all indictments." He then proceeds to write a detailed list of indictments. Also signed on left side. All three are on 4x6" photos with the writing on the back, the fronts have the Irish flag and images from the movie "Whitey." Bulger was killed in prison in 2018 at the age of 89 while serving his life sentences.
