Important Early Baseball Book (1864)
Civil War era book entitled "American Boys Book of Sports and Games" dates 1864. This is important for several reasons: 1) It shows one of the if not THE first baseball color lithograph in the book. Magnificent imahe is reminiscent of the Currier and Ives' baseball print original. 2) Shows the Henry Chadwick drawn on engraving. 3) Early engraving of the game by N. Orr. Some archival tape to hold up the binding and taped & colored spine. One you NEVER see.
