Incredible Pete Rose Childhood Sports Scrapbook

Compiled by the family of Pete Rose, this amazing retrospective begins in the early 1950s and ends in 1960. It follows the very early athletic career of Peter Edward Rose and contains personal achievement awards, original photographs and news clippings. Linen pages have the contents either glued or taped on them, and it's bound in a cloth-covered 14x17" binder with "PETE ROSE" stenciled in black on the front cover. There are three original 8x10" photos of Pete (circa 1954) on Kiwanis football teams, 1958 Western Hill High School football program listing Peter Rose as #55 and includes picture, two pages of Western Hill football stats with Rose's own handwritten notes, an original 8x10" photo of circa 1956 "Green Stamps" baseball team with Pete in the bottom row, 1955 and 1956 Boys Public School Athletic League certificates made out to Pete Rose, eleven Cincinnati P.S.A.L. award ribbons presented from 1951 to 1955, Western Hill HS varsity letter certificates, a boxing program listing Pete Rose in the first bout-112 pound flyweight, a ticket envelope with Pete's name and writing "Tickets receive (sic) from Cincinnati Redlegs to go to the game," football plays with handwritten notes from 1959, lots of early news clippings and boxscores with Pete in the lineups, all 1960 or prior. Overall the book and contents are VG, some pages have notations in Pete's own handwriting.
