Including the addendum, over 2,000 pages. Inside the book are three letters to Dempsey that essentially turn down an inquiry from Dempsey for employment; for example, his inquiry to the Atlantic City Racing Association. 2) Movie film of the controversial Joe Louis vs. Jersey Joe Walcott Heavyweight Championship fight (their first fight) in Madison Square Garden in which Louis was knocked down twice, yet won a 15-round decision when many believed Louis had lost the fight. Two 16 millimeter spools. 3) Matchbook (no matches) from Dempsey's Restaurant. 4) Gene Tunney postcard. 5) The Chicago Sun newspaper article from Oct. 11, 1942, showing a photo of Lieutenant Dempsey in his Coast Guard uniform. 6) Joe Louis poster (with a copy of a sketch of Joe Louis). 7) Photo of Jack Dempsey. 8) Boxing program from 1938 listing Dempsey as referee. 9) Jack Dempsey autographed menu from his New York City restaurant. 10) Time Magazine with cover photo of Joe Louis dated Sept. 29, 1941. 11) Jack Dempsey jigsaw puzzle. 12) Joe Louis autographed menu from the Rhumboogie Cafe in Detroit. 13) Jack Dempsey autographed menu from his restaurant in Howard, New York. 14) Press kit from the movie<em> Joe&nbsp;And Max</em>, a film about the championship fights and the friendship between Joe Louis and Germany's Max Schmeling. 15) A small souvenir ring with a raised image of Joe Louis. 16) A Dempsey - Carpentier Fight Living Pictures booklet (1.5x2.25"). 17) Dempsey autographed photo. 19) Chuck Wepner on the cover of the March 24, 1975, Sports Illustrated before Wepner's fight with Muhammed Ali. When Wepner went the distance against Ali it became the inspiration for Sylvester Stallone's Rocky movies. In addition, more than 15 other items are included.<em></em>
