Jack Dempsey Full Tickets Including the Long Count Fight vs. Gene Tunney
This collection includes a full, unused ticket for the July 4, 1919 fight between Jess Willard and Jack Dempsey in Toledo, Ohio, which Dempsey won by knockout to capture the World Heavyweight Title. Stub firmly attached. No creases, rips or tears. Minor soiling. 2 3/4" x 6 3/4". Also included is a full, unused ticket to the famous "Long Count" fight of September 22, 1927 in Chicago between Jack Dempsey and Gene Tunney, won by Tunney. Stub firmly attached. Crease in upper left corner reinforced by clear tape on back. Some surface wear and corner wear. 2 3/4" x 6 3/4". A scarce combination for the great Jack Dempsey.
