Jack Dempsey Vs. Gene Tunney "Long Count" Working Mutoscope

Jack Dempsey Vs. Gene Tunney "Long Count" Working Mutoscope

This nickelodeon conjures images of Coney Island and the rough and tumble America of 1927. Early animated device plays the film of the fight in electrified flip book fashion. The machine lights up beautifully, illuminating the scenes of the unforgettable "Long Count." If you're out of nickels, fear not - the coin mechanism has been disconnected for easy "free" operation of the device. The eader card at top has been lovingly recreated to look perhaps even better than the original, this machine is an old repaint in splendid "Mike Munvey" style. Stands 40" tall, a brightly lit look into the past. Made by International Mutascope Reel Company. No legs. In fine condition with very minor scratching. Measures 40x10x18".
