The collection consists of Jack Johnson with medicine ball by International, signing of the Johnson-Jeffries fight contract, classic "painting" showing the parties celebrating with champagne (this version is without advertising and is considered a type I), 1940 photo of Johnson posing with Lincoln Zephyr, 1935 Johnson with "Longcount" Barry of the $54,000 embezzlement scam, 1931 Johnson leading his colored orchestra, Johnson's wife by N.Y. Herald, Johnson getting paid out at the bank, Johnson comically sparring with Andy Anderson, and 1946 funeral photo of Johnson in casket. This is one of the better Jack Johnson photo collections that we have seen.
