The photos, official documents, signatures and captions in this magnificent collage almost recount the tales of the controversy, politics, and money associated with this historical fight. A picture of a panorama highlights collage across the top. Scene is Oriental Park Race Track gloriously filled with eager fans and notorious gamblers. Also featured are full body photos of the Champion, Jess Willard, and Jack Johnson, copies of documents written in Spanish and English, and countless other snapshots of political figures, managers, spectators, etc. Center caption defines the collage as the “Only Authorized Souvenir Picture of the Great World’s Championship Battle between Jess Willard and Jack Johnson Havana Cuba, April 15, 1915”.
