Jackie Jensen was an All-American in both baseball and football at the University of California, and became the first person to play in both the Rose Bowl and the World Series when he appeared as a pinch runner for the New York Yankees in the third game of the 1950 World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies. This 8 x 10" photo is inscribed “To Earl -- My very best regards Sincerely Jack Jensen.” Photo shows some wear; small tear in bottom edge and pencil writing on the back.
