Jackie Robinson, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player & Ralph Branca Signed Hat (JSA)
A Fab Foursome, indeed. Dodgers notables Jackie Robinson and Ralph Branca, as well as golf greats Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player, signed this fashionable safari hat, though the time and setting remains a mystery (perhaps it belonged to a spectator?). The autographs of the three Hall of Famers and Dodger great Branca appear on the brim of the hard tan adjustable hat, all done in pencil. The signatures average 7/10, with Player's being a little fainter. For the barrier-breaking Robinson, this is one of the most unusual signed items ever offered at auction, making it even more alluring. The canvas-like hat shows some wear and there is a thumb-sized tear on the side brim, but otherwise is in excellent condition. Comes with JSA LOA.
