Jackie Robinson Signed Sports Illustrated Photograph (PSA)
Jackie Robinson broke the Major League "color line" when he played his first National League game, for the Brooklyn Dodgers, on April 15, 1947. The Hall of Famer was the National League Rookie of the Year that season, and he helped the Dodgers to the National League pennant that year. Robinson was an MVP, a 7-time All-Star, a winner of a batting title, and a part of the only World Series that the Brooklyn Dodgers ever won, in 1955. Robinson hit .313 lifetime. Moreover, his effect on American culture makes him one of the foremost civil rights personages in American history. The photo has a small tear in the lower left corner, and a small tear along the top right margin. Robinson has signed "Best Wishes Larry/Jackie Robinson" on the lower left. The 8x10" signed black and white photo has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA and certified AUTHENTIC AUTO.
