Jacqueline Kennedy Photo and Lipstick
This gold tube of “Cutex Cameo Pink” lipstick was once used by the most fashionable First Lady to compliment one of her signature Chanel suits. The 8”x10” black & white photo, stamped on the verso, “copyright Jacques Lowe 4 Perry Street. New York 14, NY”, was reproduced and widely used during the 1960 campaign. The original ink inscription by Jackie to Mary Gallagher has since faded to invisible leaving a pen impression on the photo’s surface. Slight yellowing on the edges though otherwise EX. LOA.
