Jake LaMotta "Director's Chair" Used on the Set of "Raging Bull"
Jake LaMotta has been one of the most controversial figures in the history of boxing. LaMotta was the first man to defeat Sugar Ray Robinson and fought and defeated many of the great middleweights of the 1940s on his way to winning the middleweight title from Marcel Cerdan. His stormy marriage to Vikki LaMotta and boxing career were the subject of the book and famous movie "Raging Bull," starring Robert DeNiro. JLaMotta was a consultant to the film and had his own director's chair which we offer here. This leather and metal chair complete with side flaps has LaMotta's name on the back. It has slight tears at the leather seams, otherwise clean and intact. Jake presented the chair to his then-former wife Vikki, and comes wit LOA from her son.
