James "Buddy" McGirt Signed Cornerman Jacket from 1993 WBC Championship
During his fighting days, James McGirt was the IBF Light-Welterweight Champion, and Lineal/WBC Welterweight Champ. After that, he transitioned to trainer, and has successfully worked with up-and-coming boxers. McGirt signed this blue cornerman jacket on the back in silver between the words "World Champion" and "James Buddy McGirt" embroidered in white. The nylon Spartan brand jacket features a working zipper and two front pockets. The lot includes a signed program by Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker from his fight at Madison Square Garden on March 6, 1993, for the WBC Welterweight Championship.
