James J. Braddock Signed Game Board
Who needs Monopoly when you can play Knockout? Vintage red game board comes folded in half and reads "By James Braddock World's Heavyweight Champion" above a "moving" boxing glove that has "Knockout" and stars, as in Braddock's many opponents who saw them after crumbling to the canvas. Below that, "Braddock Scarnie Game Corporation 15 Central Park West N.Y.C. Reg US Patent Office." Open it up and find a drawing of Braddock in the center with his autograph, " Best Wishes James Braddock 2/15/06". It looks like every player had a piece they moved around the board and they landed on spaces with phrases such as "Draws Blood From Nose Gain 3" and "Two Hard Rights to Kidney Gain 5". Board (opened) is 19-5/8" squared. Board is in EX-MT condition.
