James J. Corbett Signed Handwritten Letter
This is a one-page, handwritten letter on hotel stationary from former heavyweight champion James J. Corbett to a theatrical manager in which Corbett tries to arrange a deal to be put in a variety of vaudeville engagements. Boldly written and signed in fountain pen, "Sincerely Jas J Corbett." The letter has the original folds, but is otherwise clean with no tears. Professionally framed with a second generation photograph of Corbett in fight pose. The letter is undated. Rare letter from Corbett, especially in this fine condition.
