Extremely rare signature from James J. Jeffries on this mounted photo. The champion is shown with others sitting on a bench in period dress holding sheet music. Signed at bottom in black fountain pen, “Jas J. Jeffries.” Signature is still black with minimal fading and grades a “7” out of a possible 10. Antique photo is mounted on heavy cardboard, measuring 12x10”. Some slight toning and some speckled spots in the white areas, otherwise EX.
