Jay Lynch Hand Painted Chair

Jay Lynch Hand Painted Chair

It’s difficult to label this item a “conversation piece”. The chair does most of the speaking. Meticulously and wonderfully detailed, every inch covered with various, original characters from Jay’s many comics. Most interesting though is the self-told story of the artist’s life painted around the base of the chair. Hand painted by the artist many consider to be the founding father of “underground” comics. Finished completely in black and white. Caricature of artist along with “1998, Jay Lynch” painted on the underside of chair. Front rung displays one of his claims to fame, “Um Tut Sut!”. The word “unique” does not do this piece justice.
