Jerry Grote Autographed Game Worn Jerseys (3)
A nice trio of gamers from 3 different teams, all worn by the reliable New York Mets backstop, Jerry Grote. First is a 1975 Mets road gray jersey. “Mets 15” across the front in blue on orange tackle twill. Blue sharpie signature below the right breast. Verso is “15” and left sleeve bears the circular Mets team patch. Jersey shows outstanding use and wear. Tagging on front right tail is “Rawlings [size] 42” with “set 1 #8P 1975” flag tag. “42 75 15” embroidered on plate in the collar with “E” handwritten in black marker next to it. Next is his twice signed circa 1977-78 home white Los Angeles Dodgers jersey. “Dodgers” across the chest in blue script tackle twill. Red “9” below the left breast. Blue sharpie signature rests just below right breast. Verso is “Grote 9” in blue lettering. Grote has signed again on the verso. Collar tagging is “W.A. Goodman & Sons”. Last is his pullover style white Cracker Jack shirt. “National” screened onto the front and “Grote 15” screened onto verso. Right sleeve bears the screened on “National Old Timers Baseball Classic”” emblem and right sleeve bears the “Rawlings” logo. “Rawlings [size] 44” tag on front tail. NRMT condition.
