Jerry Rubin Burns Congressional Subpoena Oversized Photo (1968)

Jerry Rubin Burns Congressional Subpoena Oversized Photo (1968)

Original oversized photo 8 1/4" X 13 1/2" dated September 28, 1968 from San Francisco Examiner of Jerry Rubin burning his Congressional subpoena. He played an instrumental role in the disruption of the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Rubin was put on trial for conspiracy and crossing state lines with the intention of inciting a riot. The photo has a small half inch tear at the top but it does not detract from the emotion of the photo. Editor enhancement marks evident on the sides and highlighting shown on his hand for newspaper copying. Very good condition.
