Jerry Sloan Chicago Bulls Retired Number Banner

Jerry Sloan Chicago Bulls Retired Number Banner

Gigantic Chicago Bulls banner honoring the number retirement of the original "Mr. Bull," Jerry Sloan. This looks to be the original banner that hung at Chicago Stadium since Sloan's retirement in 1978, standing an impressive 10 feet tall by six feet wide (approx.). The team name and Bulls head logo are above his retired number "4" - all in black lettering - followed by his name and playing years of 1966-67 to 1975-76. The banner definitely shows some age and wear as the first "19" has come off the banner and the first "6" is loose, with fraying around the edges of the remaining numbers. Considered one of the best defensive players of his era, Sloan played 11 NBA seasons before embarking on a 23-year Hall of Fame tenure as a coach.
