Jim Braddock Vintage Signed Photo (1936)
Jim Braddock, aka "Cinderella Man", earned his alias from having battled his way to big upset wins against Corn Griffin and John Henry Lewis followed by overcoming 10 to 1 odds to defeat Max Baer to become the Heavyweight Champ. This is a signed portrait photo shot by Underwood Studio in Wash., D.C. It reads "To Barnett Chaipen with best wishes Jimmy Braddock 6/26/36". It measures 8" x 10" and is in EX condition with only some minor edge creases and a 1/4" edge tear on the left side which will allow for this great photo to frame beautifully.
