Jim Braddock Vs. Max Baer Die Cut On-Site Boxing Poster

Jimmy Braddock fought Max Baer on June 13, 1935, at the Madison Square Garden Bowl in Long Island City. Braddock, the Cinderella Man and heavy underdog in this fight, won by decision after 15 rounds to win the Heavyweight Title. Offered here are two rare relics from this event. The first is a used, illustrated Braddock-Baer fight envelope, creased with edge and corner wear and measuring 4" x 9". Also includes an on-site diecut standee which pictures both fighters and includes ticket prices and the venue. Cardboard with the stand attached to back; soiled and creased, with staining and tack holes. Scarce the item is irregularly shaped to 12" x 12." Two very seldom seen collectibles from one of the most famous fights in boxing history.
