Jim Brown NFL 1000 Yard Club 1964 Enshrinement Award
While he moved on to an extensive career in acting on both the big and little screen, history will remember Jim Brown among the most elite as one of the greatest running backs of all time. The eight-time NFL rushing champion was honored with this NFL 1000 Yard Club Foundation award. It bears the outline of the NFL shield that contains the phrase "1000 Yard Club Foundation" above the actual NFL crest logo. The plate on the base reads, "Enshrined June 9th 1964, Menasha Wisconsin - The National 1000 yard club foundation Inc. - Jim Brown." This sturdy accolade measures 8.5' tall and 8" wide and is only one of many that the Hall of Famer earned during his legendary career, which included nine Pro Bowls, nine All-Pro selections, and the 1964 NFL Championship with the Cleveland Browns. As recently as 2009, he was rated as the 2nd best player of all time by NFL.com.
