Jim Brown Signed Book and Index Card PSA

"Make sure when anyone tackles you he remembers how much it hurts," said Pro Football Hall of Fame fullback Jim Brown. Brown did just that over his sterling nine-year career, all with the Cleveland Browns. Presented is a signed autobiography, Out Of Bounds, written by Jim Brown (with Steve Delsohn) along with a Jim Brown signed index card that contains a Jim Brown cut signature. The signed book is 248 pages, and Brown's book is filled with anecdotes from his youth, his college and pro football experiences, then to his movie career, and to his life in retirement. Brown played nine seasons in the NFL and retired while he was still a potent force. He was a 9-time selection for the Pro Bowl and a 3-time AP MVP and a 3-time UPI MVP. In his NFL career, he rushed for 12,312 yards, a 5.2-yard average, and scored 126 overall touchdowns. He was a 9-time Pro Bowl selection. At just 30 years old, he shockingly quit pro football to concentrate on acting in films. Just a few of his 30 pictures: The Dirty Dozen, 100 Rifles, Three the Hard Way, Ice Station Zebra, and Any Given Sunday. Brown's recent passing was a sad blow to the sports world, and a reminder of his true greatness. Brown inscribed and signed the book on the flyleaf, using a ballpoint pen with blue ink, writing, "To Don, Best Wishes Jim Brown." The book is in EXCELLENT condition. The lot also includes a blank 3x5" index card on which the star used a ballpoint pen with blue ink to neatly sign "Jim Brown." The index card cut signature has been encapsulated and PSA/DNA certified "AUTHENTIC AUTO." The signed autobiography and signed cut index card are fine mementos from one of the best players in pro football history.
