Jim Corbett "Gentleman Jack" One Sheet Stone Litho Poster
James J. Corbett defeated John L. Sullivan in 1892 to win the World Heavyweight Title. Corbett parlayed his success in the ring into a wonderful career on the stage. Presented here is a one sheet (28" x 38") stone lithograph of James J. Corbett appearing in "Gentleman Jack." Issued by Strobridge Litho Company in the early 1890's while Corbett was still champion. Bold color and an accurate depiction of Corbett as the star adorn this rare lithograph which has professionally linen backed for preservation. Only slight discoloration from age. Extremely rare.
