Jim Thorpe (1931)
Often considered to be one of the greatest football players of all time, this 8 x 10" photograph of Jim Thorpe dates from 1931. At the time this photo was taken Thorpe was starring in a real life role in a film with Richard Arlen and Peggy Shannon titled “Touchdown”. The quality of the image is VG/ EX with some minor wrinkling around the edges, but the contrast and tonal qualities make this photo exceptional.
