Jim Thorpe in a Baseball Uniform Photograph (PSA Type I)
Classic Jim Thorpe photo in baseball uniform, circa 1910s. The multi-sport superstar is in full-body pose and appears to be wearing a sweater but baseball pants, stirrups, and hat are clearly from his brief baseball career. Measures 4x6", small cut to bottom right corner and crease to top left but otherwise presents magnificently. Back has pencil notations including Thorpe's name, tape remnants, and stamps from noted photo archivists Brown Brothers. PSA Type I encapsulated.
