Are You Experienced was the debut album by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1967. It changed music and caused feelings of inadequacy among most everyone else who made their living playing an electric guitar. It rocked The Third Stone From The Sun. One of the most important albums in music history. This is a gold record that marks this monumental moment. The album is framed (17-1/2 x 21-3/4") and remains on the original mat. Below it is a mini version of the album cover and a plaque that reads, " Presented to Warner Bros. Records to commemorate the sale of more than one million dollars worth of the Reprise Records Long-Playing Record Album "Are You Experienced."
