Jimmy Durante Wax Head
“My wife has a slight impediment in her speech. Every now and then she stops to breathe.” Jimmy Durante had a million of ‘em. This wax head of Durante comes from a wax museum exhibit in Philadelphia in the 1930’s. In NRMT condition, it captures perfectly the impishness of Durante in his smile and sparkling eyes. The bushy eyebrows are here and this must be of a slightly younger Durante because he still has his brown hair, though it is receding. And yes, his schnozzola is on prominent display. “Hotch-cha-cha-cha-cha!”
