Jimmy Foxx "Get This Guy A Decent Uniform" Type I Photo

Jimmy Foxx "Get This Guy A Decent Uniform" Type I Photo

Hall of Famer Bill Dickey once said, "If I were catching blindfolded, I'd always know when it was (Jimmie) Foxx who connected. He hit the ball harder than anyone else.” From his days in Philadelphia comes this Type I photo by United Press showing a weathered Jimmy Foxx, who looks like a Slugger who has been through the wringer. The wrinkled jersey with cut sleeves appears as if it's seen better days; perhaps it's time for a new one. Photo's rough edges and soft corners make for VG condition.
