Jimmy Foxx Single Signed Baseball

Jimmy Foxx Single Signed Baseball

This one-of-a-kind baseball has been beautifully signed by three-time American League MVP and Hall of Fame infielder Jimmie Foxx. A Spalding Official Home Run League ball in excellent overall condition, Foxx's bold, black 8/10 signature right on the ball's sweet spot includes quotation marks around his first name, "Jimmie". Foxx, who played several seasons for both the Philadelphia Athletics and Boston Red Sox, is perhaps best known for his incredible 1933 season, during which he won the American League Triple Crown. Foxx's 48 home runs, 163 RBI and .356 batting average each paced the league, propelling the A's infielder to his second straight MVP Award. Incredibly, neither Foxx's home run or RBI totals in 1933 were career bests, as he smashed 58 home runs and knocked in 169 runs one year earlier, in 1932.
