On the side panel is written, "With great respect and admiration Roberto Clemente." Joe L. added later the date it was signed "June 28, 1970" - the day of the last game at Forbes Field. It was spot varnished after that so the date was written right after the signature. This Official National League offering is a cream white ball except for the varnish.
