Joe DiMaggio Gets a Light Photograph (PSA Type I)

Joe DiMaggio Gets a Light Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph capturing Joe DiMaggio receiving a light from the famed Philip Morris Boy, Johnny Roventini. A later-day paper caption appears on the reverse, along with a New York Yankees credit stamp. At the time this photo was taken (circa 1950s) Roventini was probably a bigger celebrity than DiMaggio, as he was the longtime spokesperson for Phillip Morris Cigarettes, appearing in print ads, as well as both on radio and television (most notably on the I Love Lucy show). The photo (9.25x7.5") remains in Excellent to Mint condition. Encapsulated as Type I Authentic by PSA.
