Joe Dimaggio Photo From Lefty O’Douls Restaurant (16x20”)
A spectacular photo of the young Joe DiMaggio taken during the final season with his hometown San Francisco Seals only months before the legend of Joltin’ Joe, American icon, began. The eighteen year old slugger bookends player/manager Frank O’Doul along with teammate Joe Marty in this wonderful image that once hung proudly in Lefty’s restaurant. It exhibits light wrinkling along the top border and a single crease to the top left corner but is in otherwise EX condition. One of the finest early DiMaggio photos around.
