Joe DiMaggio Signed Documentary Poster

Joe DiMaggio Signed Documentary Poster

Athletic and enigmatic, Joe DiMaggio was a perplexing, private individual who was loved by many but known by very few. The 1997 HBO documentary "Where Have You Gone, Joe DiMaggio" attempted to break some of the barriers the Hall of Famer constructed throughout his heyday and beyond, though a great deal of his personality is still shrouded in mystery. Less than two years before the legendary Yankees center fielder died, he signed a mere 56 of these promotional posters for HBO. The poster is framed, measured 32" x 44.5" and is in NRMT condition. His signature rates 8.5/10 "Joltin' Joe DiMaggio played his entire 13-year career for the New York Yankees and is perhaps best known for his 56-game hitting streak in 1941, a record that still stands.
