Joe DiMaggio Signed WWII Photograph
Not only were 1940s-era baseball stars such as Joe DiMaggio leaders on the field, they also bravely served their country in its time of need. Case in point, this gorgeous image of the Army baseball team with a perfect Joe DiMaggio signature. Overall, 17 servicemen signed the terrific photo, most of whom were major leaguers, including Yankees teammate Charlie Silvera. Framed and matted, the actual photo is 9 3/4" x 7 5/8". There is a stain and slight crease, but neither affects Joe, whose signature is near-perfect.
