Joe DiMaggio "The Hitter, The Hero & The American Dream" Signed Oversized Lithograph - AP HC 13/40 (LOA)
<p>Limited-edition signed lithograph, titled "Joe DiMaggio - The Hitter, The Hero, & The American Dream" by Carlo Beninati, signed by both Joe DiMaggio and the artist. DiMaggio has flawlessly signed the print in blue Sharpie (grading 10/10), with the signature measuring an impressive 5.5" in length. Beninati has signed the print in the lower right corner. Hand-numbered "AP-HC 13/40" in the lower left corner. This piece was signed under the auspices of Pro Sports Services and is accompanied by an LOA signed by Pro Sports Services president Jerry Romolt. According to the LOA, these limited-edition signed lithographs were issued in 1994, but at the time forty were designated as "hors commerce," meaning for the artist's use only. Those forty prints, of which this is one, were vaulted until 2006, at which time they were acquired and marketed by Steiner Sports. The lithograph (29.5x23", visible dimensions) is in apparent Mint condition and has been matted and framed to total dimensions of 35x29" <span style="font-size: 10pt;"><em>Please note: the size and/or weight of this lot willnecessitate an increased shipping charge.</em></span></p>
